Using black (optional: eyelash):

join black to top edge of green “cone”: ch 3, then a double chrochet into next sts. [Ch 1, 1 double crochet in next st] to end of round; slip st into top of chain sts to close. Bind off. Sew in ends.

Sew green center into the little “well” in the middle of the red flower. Pleat the flower with your fingers. Push the middle with your fingers to make it “pop out”.
